A memorial designed by architect Markku Koskinen, named ‘Ero’, or ‘Parting’, stands in front of Cultural Centre Vanha Paukku (Vanhan Paukun tie 1).

A monument designed by local sculptor Timo Suvanto can be found on the ‘new’ side of the Simpsiön hautausmaa cemetery (Kappelintie 19). The monument is called ‘Yhteinen Tuska’, or ‘Shared Anguish’.
