Wanha Karhunmäki was the first folk high school in Finland to belong to the Lutheran Awakening movement. Nowadays, it is a leisure centre that offers accommodation for up to 130 visitors around the year. Whether you’re alone, with a group or with a pet, we have the right accommodation options for you.
We have saunas, a gym, a shop and a campfire hut, all open to our visitors.
Catering Services At Wanha Karhunmäki, you can organise conferences, training events, camps, family celebrations, outings and hobby excursions.
Our capable kitchen is ready to serve. Our restaurant has space for 200 diners indoors, as well as another 600 outdoors.
