Lapua is part of Vaasa’s Orthodox parish and has an Orthodox chapel dating back to 1962 with a capacity of 100 people. Services at the chapel are actively attended by about 40 members of the community. Services occur roughly once a month, except during Great Lent, when services are held more frequently.
